Mystery of the universe #6,894,223

Why can't I EVER get the number of cookies in a recipe that is listed in the yield???

I am always and forever short.

Always.

I usually end up short too, but I think it's because I make larger-than-called-for cookies. (That way, one can eat a cookie that is really 1 and 1/3 or so cookies and still say one only ate one cookie...)

it's because you make the cookies bigger than the recipe writers did
me, I always seem to end up with more cupcakes than the recipe says I should, and end up putting cupcake papers in custard cups....

My problem is that I like the batter!!!

Real cookies are waaayyy bigger than the recipe allows for. This means you make reeaaaalll cookies.
