Where do you do most of your reading? Your favorite spot?

(And yes, I understand that these might not be the same thing--your favorite spot could be the beach, but you do most of your reading at home . . . in which case, tell me about both!)

I do most of my reading either in the brown leather chair in my office or in bed before I turn out the lights. Hence my problem with being sleepy more mornings than I would like to admit!

My favorite place to read, though? I don't think I have a favorite! I like to read anywhere! If I had to pick though, I think I'd pick bed. Bed on a day when I got to stay in it all day. With a Diet Coke with crushed ice beside me on my nightstand. And then I could take a nap. And then read some more.

I'll second the bed!!!
(When we lived on Lake Michigan, I loved sitting on our porch swing to read, but bed is always good)

The bed was my favorite by default place to read. My New Year's resolution was to fix up the masterbedroom to be more romantic AND contemplative. My NEW favorite place to read is in my rocking chair by the newly covered table and candle but then it gets uncomfortable so I tend to still like reading in bed where I doze off before finishing my goal reading.

I used to do most of my reading in bed. But these days I tend to camp out on the comfy sofa in the living room, the one that sits in front of the window overlooking the front garden. It gets lovely morning sunlight and when I look up from my book, I can always stare out the window. Though now I'm more likely to stare at Isabella crawling all over the living room floor and circumnavigating the room holding onto all the furniture.

Of course, like Mama T, I read anywhere and everywhere.

Ah yes...I used to love to read in bed when I was sick (i.e. but not too sick). I don't seem to do it anymore, mostly because I don't seem to catch colds anymore.
