As of 7:41 p.m. tonight, April 28th, Zteen is now officially an EAGLE SCOUT!!!!!

His Board of Review was signed off. He is finished.

Paperwork still has to be routed through National, but his dates have been checked and signed off in Council. Nothing more can stand in his way.

His daddy and I gave him his Eagle Ring tonight.

I only cried a little bit.

I am very, very, VERY proud of him.

YAYAYAYAYYAYAYAY!!!!!

Zteen, congrats from a brother Eagle. Only one more big challenge stands in your way: pinning the Eagle pin on your mom at your court of honor without sticking her. ;-) I was nervous at that part and when I gave my "thank yous".

Congratulations to your son, from a fellow Eagle. I remember for a few weeks, I'd think to myself, "Hey! I'm an Eagle Scout!" Even after the ceremony, it takes a while for something like that to sink in, especially after you've worked so long and hard for it.

Be careful with that black box. It's fragile, and I'm not so sure it's that easy to replace. Put it some place nice. Buy extra Eagle tie pins. You'll need them. Trust me.

congrats on an award that still means something, from an organization not afraid to stand up for values (unlike, alas, the girl scouts lately).

That is very impressive and you should well be proud!

Congrats!!!!!! To his mom and dad, too, for what were probably countless hours spent helping him along this path. Yay!

Congrats! That is one heck of an accomplishment! So, the flag poles outside church were his project?

yes, the poles and flags and that entire tract of land, including all of the handsome landscaping, on the southeast corner of the church. i nearly shed a tear the first time i saw it because i'd never seen the papal flag in living color. what a blessing Zteen brought the entire parish with his project!

many congrats to the entire CerTZ Clan!

Congrats ZTeen from a fellow Eagle.

I was just thinking this morning...never did hear how the project turned out.

Congratulation from the mom of two (hopefully in the not too distant future) future Eagle Scouts

Congratulations!

Congratulations! What a fine accomplishment. All of you worked hard I'm sure.
