Appetizer: Covered with white dog hair, jammed with books. Sprinkled with little girl jewelry.

Soup: a. Lose 25 pounds (not all I'd like to lose, but it'd be a start)
b. Get organized
c. Read enough books to hit 50 for the year.

Salad: Blog and read blogs, catch up on email, read various columnists and newsletters. Play an occasional game. Visit www.victorywon.com and get you a pro-life bumper sticker.

Main Course: Not What I Expected. Not What I Expected At All

Dessert: I go to bed around 10:30 or so. I turn off the lights much, much later--depending on how good the book I am reading is.

Appetizer: loaner furniture, mini-tv, and a map of the world with stick pins detailing our travels.

Soup: 1) read the books I have in my to-do pile
2) Figure out where I'm going next year
3) big vocational decisions to make

Salad: email and blogging. Check out http://home.uchicago.edu/%7Eyli5/Flash/Fire.html for a cool song and designs.

Main Course: I can't get no satisfaction: Knocking on heaven's door.

Dessert: Sometime around 10:30 or 11 if I'm lucky

Briefly describe your living room. Big (our reason for buying this house)& bright. undecorated with things in mind. blue sofa & big comfy chair. non-working tv that we're getting rid of soon.

Soup

I visit message boards, read email, chat with friends, read online romance cra-uhm novels while knitting, read ABOUT knitting. Suggest a site. Ohhh try Brocante Home, just discovered it myself - http://www.brocantehome.typepad.com/

Main Course
What would the title of your autobiography be?
I really don't know, i'm NOT good at coming up with titles. Every story I write is untitled.

Appetizer
Briefly describe your living room. Cluttered. Dominated by a giant dark green "L" shaped couch, full of books and CDs.

Soup
List 3 things you'd like to accomplish before the end of 2005. Finish a big painting. Build a new bed. Master ferrocement.

Salad
When you're online, what do you spend the most time reading/playing/doing? Suggest a site for us to visit. Besides St. Blogs Parish, I like to keep in touch with the outside food world (that way I can call it work). http://www.coffeegeek.org

Main Course
What would the title of your autobiography be? Ah, %^$@, another meatball writes his memoirs!

Dessert
What time do you usually go to bed? 1 am on weekdays, 2am or 3am (depending on the weather) on weekends.

Appetizer
Bright and colorful- ditto on the dog fur, but with a little kitty fur tambien.

Soup
Potty train Jake, paint my bedroom, and have a baby!

Salad
Deleting email. padrepiodevotions.org

Main Course
"Here it goes..."

Dessert
10:30

Appetizer: Kelly green walls; appears to have been decorated by a semi-professional whose training was limited to decorating TGI Fridays. Too much dust and dog hair for comfort. The key is don't look too closely.

Soup: 1 - Get the house really clean and keep it that way for at least 24 hours.
2. - Be able to do at least 30 minutes at a stretch on the NordicTrack, like in the good old days.
3. - Do some serious writing.

Salad - Read, read, read. Check out everybody's blogs. (No shopping. And I must cut back on the iTunes before that gets out of hand.) I would like to suggest Arts & Letters Daily as a way to get see a lot without ever having to get dressed or leave home. (http://www.aldaily.com/)

Main Course - That's a tough one. Too bad A Confederacy of Dunces is taken. Maybe something like Ellyn Smith's Schooldays.
Because there is always a new lesson to learn.

Dessert - Seven if it's been a bad day. Or eleven. But usually I go to sleep by 10:30

Appetizer: High ceilings, one wall painted a deep crimson (sets off the,) stone fireplace nicknamed "Yosemite" because it is so irregular and the stones are stacked all the way to the ceiling, a nice big comfy chair-and-a-half plus ottoman in one corner that everybody loves to sit on and sometimes we all do at once (cast-off Ethan Allen from some friends!), an old, long sofa with a slight curve to it that was my in-law's and is terribly threadbare. If only we could afford the $1,000 reupholstering job...ridiculous, I know, but my husband WILL NOT give up that couch!

Soup: Get my husband a new job, retire a few small debts, make the three dozen Christmas ornaments I am planning to give to friends, family and teachers.

Salad: I read mostly, but the sites I visit vary daily. Today, I'll be heading over to The Dollar Stretcher (www.stretcher.com), a typical Monday stop.

Main Course: Wallflower

Dessert: Lately, midnight or so. Too much to do...
