With holiday shopping coming up, are you buying books for anyone? For whom? And go ahead, spill it: which books are you buying?

Just one! I'm buying a Rainer Maria Rilke collection for a good family friend of ours that speaks German and can read his poetry the way it was intended. His poetry squeezes and fills my heart, even though I gather he was a heretic. Sigh.
i've already purchased several for the smocklings, but somehow i don't think you'll be running out for a half-price copy of wow wow wubzy's dinosaur island adventure.
