Absolutely agreed, dear one.
But in the face of what I consider to be disaster, I must remember that it is only time to begin again the work that is ours to do.
We don't pick the times we live in.
We do pick what we do in them.
On a very sad day indeed, we hitch up our britches and go on with the tasks we've been given. It's important to read the last sentence of that scripture again.
And again.
And again.
And let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due sesason we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.
I'm repeating that over and over today, as I studiously avoid the media.
