And because I missed it yesterday!

Happy Birthday, GKC!

"Do not enjoy yourself. Enjoy dances and theaters and joy-rides and champagne and oysters; enjoy jazz and cocktails and night-clubs if you can enjoy nothing better; enjoy bigamy and burglary and any crime in the calendar, in preference to the other alternative; but never learn to enjoy yourself." - The Common Man

I missed it , too. (And not because I was too busy enjoying myself :) ) BTW, I've always loved that quote.....reminds me of my Dad who would chide me for thanking hostesses etc with a perfunctory, "I really enjoyed myself." He would say something along the lines of, "I should hope you enjoyed something other than your self." My Dad was a great guy - in retrospect, very Chestertonian. I miss him a lot. Reading Chesterton helps!
