Dear MamaT,

An interesting list that appears to betray a certain obsession with the works of Philip K. Dick. One would suggest an almost unhealthy fascination with the literature of heavy-drug use.

Nevertheless, I've read most of these and agree with these choices and encourage more.

Steven:

I did notice that, even as a neophyte SF reader. Wondered what the big deal was about him! :-)

Blessings!

The emphasis on Dick may have something to do with his being perhaps the most interesting SF writer to emerge during the '50's.

As lists of books to read go, this one was better than most. The reviews I skimmed were mostly superficial, though.
