Dogear?!!! Bad, bad, bad.
Ladies, you do not have to invest $2.99 in a tassled bookmark. An old theatre ticket or bus pass will do...even a piece of uncooked spaghetti.
I am glad Lemony Snicket is cool with one of you, now I feel less afraid to explore his works. (The inside cover of his "autobiography" in hardback is a riot -- it is a parody of his other books' covers.)

Hey, I don't dogear (very often)! Most of the time I use holy cards as my book marks. Or, bookmarks that others have given me.

Our reading group is always buying bookmarks for each other. The coolest ones are ones that weren't originally bookmark-intendeds--they are cards of various types that we've attached ribbons/tassels/etc to and given each other.

okay. i gotta join the inkblots just to get the coolmoe bookmarks so i won't have to dogear anymore!
