Ignorant quote of the week:

"You know what? Just let me make one point. You were talking about the map before. If indeed all those blue states all got together and seceded from the union, think what would be left for those red states, nothing. There would be no educational system. You would have nothing. What would be left to you? I mean, where is all of this talent in this country? It’s on both sides, the Northeast corridor."

-Geraldine Ferraro to Sean Hannity on Hannity and Colmes, November 6

I didn't know she was such a moron!

She forgot to read, "How to win friends and influence people."

secede! please secede!

Ms. Ferraro:

I have lived in strong blue state corridors on both coasts. I assure you, I am untalented.

And yet all the beautiful people are from the South . . . well, that's fine keep your talent we have better scenery (and better weather, and better food, more culture . . .). Also, I would take the no education system that I got over what their pushing up there . . .

Did anyone mention to her that three of the top one hundred law schools in the nation are n Texas and the UT is number fifteen?

Has she reached the age at which little old ladies are allowed to say whatever comes to mind with anyone being really offended or taking a thing seriously? Not really? Well, she's acting like it. Though she's probably never going to run on a presidential ticket again, so she probably figures she can offend anyone and everyone. Let's just go out there and offend most of the country...and their relatives.

PS - I think I'm writing from a 'blue' state, but that is just because there is what amounts to a blue abcess around the Chicago area. And we ain't all blue.... no way.
