Booking Through Thursday

Today's question:

What’s your favorite book that nobody else has heard of? You know, not Little Women or Huckleberry Finn, not the latest best-seller . . . whether they’ve read them or not, everybody “knows” those books. I’m talking about the best book that, when you tell people that you love it, they go, “Huh? Never heard of it?”

Hmmmm. I'll have to think about this. Off the bat, I'd say Staggerford or The Love Hunter by Jon Hassler.

Second thought would be Til We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis. Everyone's heard of Lewis, but not many have read what I consider to be one of his best works.

I really like the author Lisa Wingate, all her books really but her first one is hands down my favorite. I was going to try to make it last night, by the way, but I am sick. Cough. cough. cough. Keeping the germs to myself here. Maybe I'll finish the book anyway, when I can get it back from mom. I got up to ch 22 before I had to bring it to her.

Come next month. We're reading The Memory Keeper's Daughter. I'll probably finish it this week and I can pass it on to you, if you'll come!
